Kuala Lumpur Photograpgy Festival (KLPF) was held at Mid Valley convention hall last week ago, and i rate it as 5/10.

I’m glad that we have such an event at KL, but generally the speakers that they invited are not that professional in the sense of preparing their sharing session. In fact was peoples queuing and waiting just want to hear their photo shooting experience. So what they did were just pressing the slide pictures without explaining more details about their shots, WHY ?? Well they can share about how why this angle, how they deal with their clients and sort of, and these are the basic key points that they can touch on! Hmm… i hope they can improve it in future.

It was a fun and tiring day, although i didn’t went for the second day of the tarantulas showcase, at least i can get a good and wonder responds from the pass-byers. Some of them amaze that got people keeping such an 8 legged as pet, and some saying.. this crazy! LOL.

But seriously, It’s the most gentle pets I’ve ever keep before, plus not much of stinky smells coming out from the tanks that i keeping in my room, and of course as time to time, when there’s left over dead crickets definitely I’ll remove it from the tanks as avoid from mites and unwanted bacterias growing in the tank itself.

I’m feel lucky as my parents, gf, aunt and uncle whom I’m living with, there’s no complain about it and they curious about the tarantulas lifespan and their behavior.

Come and join us! I’m sure u can get a species that you like the most, among more than 900 species of tarantulas.

- Salmon Pink Birdeater (Lasiodora parahybana)
- and Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeater (Eupalastrus campestratus)

Don’t laugh…….. i know it’s a bit funny as the lens hood looks like zebra from Africa except missing the head and the tail.

Ok, serious it’s not zebra, it’s a 3rd party camera lens hood where i’ve got it from Jimmy Choo He’s good seller and a nice person to chat with as well, recommended seller.

Back to the hood, Original Canon hood cost me RM160+ and its just a piece of plastic, does it affect my pics quality, hell no! I got this only RM56, yet still can get a cheaper price from the price he stated.

If you think it’s still expensive, let me recommend you this, paper hood. LOL. It’s FOC but.. make sure it’s not raining while you using this, paper hood.

A bit disappointed from the event that i’ve attended, from the web itself looks like lots happening, but what really impressed me was there’s a rooooooow of firgurin which making me want to steal some of them back home, too bad some of the firugurins have stop manufacturing, i assume these figurins are belong some of the collectors yet some are belongs to The Figure Mall

On the other side, there’s collection from Macross fans Malaysia, a table full with Macross collection and some of them are limited edition as well, wish i have one of them..

DaiCon! Celebrating The Best of Japanese Modern Visual Culture.

DaiCon is an expo, being organized on a scale rarely seen in Malaysia. It is an expo that has been created for the sole purpose of showcasing the latest and most innovative in the world of modern Japanese visual culture, from audio to video, print as well as interactive media.

There will be exhibitions on all facets of modern Japanese visual culture, live hands-on demonstrations, as well as numerous competitions. Besides that, you’ll also be able to get an inside look at the thriving and ever-expanding ACG (Anime, Comic and Games) community in Malaysia, with cosplayers showcasing their elaborate and intricate costumes, and fan artists showcasing their high-quality productions for purchase at affordable prices.

Ah, but there will be a few surprises in store for you on the day itself. We don’t want to spoil it, so make sure you come to DaiCon and discover them yourselves.

Finally i get a chance to step down at Sepang circuit for GT racing, a ticket which only cost RM50 for 2 days and the seats given are truly awesome, main grandstand! Tips: if you’re sitting at main grandstand, make sure u have a pair of era plug and stuck it in your ear, cause the blasting sound which come out from the car engine just your ear could hardly bear it.

The moment we (me, wee liam and CC) arrived at Sepang circuit. although there’s no any ladies welcoming us but we were greeted by Nissan GTR! This more than what we’ve expected, first time of my hand touch on Nissan GTR whereby most of the time i only can view pictures or by TOP GEAR shows, although it’s not my favour colour but with the power of the GTR i get more than I’ve expected.

On the actual racing day itself, which is Sunday, while GT team having their last preparation for the actual racing, there’s self custom car parade which located next to racing circuit. Special guest Keiichi Tsuchiya (Official D1 Grand Prix Judge and is GT300 Class Team Director of ARTA JGTC Team) personally coming down to Malaysia just to give a review about the cars that parading and he was accompany by group of Japanese TV crew, nice to see him face to face. Funny thing was… lots people taking pics about the Japanese TV host,” alright i know she’s Japanese, but not that hot also,” do they know that Keiichi Tsuchiya is the starring, lol.

Here are the pictures that I’ve took on the actual day racing itself, Mpost of them are close up cars’ shots but too bad no GT queens for this year… No worries, there’s upcoming Extreme Night at Bukit Jalil around November.

My ever first box of name-card which for purposes instead of spending it for pleasure, basically the printed name-card is for those who are interested with the pics that I’ve took, i’m gladly share the pics with them, except the use it for commercial purposes. For me printed name-card always better than written down your contact on a piece of paper or even key in email address via mobile phone, doesn’t look pro isn’t it…

A brand new box of tzuen name-card which printed at my friend’s (Danson) father shop. Name-card which printed front and back yet laminate for both side, nice texture and the feeling of holding the card, that’s my priority of getting the name-card that i want. such a nice finishing name-cards only cost me RM60, not sure how much it charges out there, but things i can guarantee was the quality is stunning although I’ve been through few proceses just to get the correct colours corrections.

Reason I’m recommend about my friend’s father shop is want to share good staff with you guys especially the quality and the services.

I’m kinda lost when I’m driving from putra height to mines wonderland. LOL! I’m just taking things for granted as assuming there’s road sign stated Mines wonderland, as i forgotten here is malaysia. It gets me almost an hour to reach Mines wonder provided with the Google map that i’m using via movile WAP, and this freaking charges cost me RM8+! damn!

The moment i reach the platform, I’m really impressed by the crowd and the respond from the people and the participants of the extreme games! Great thanx to Mines wonderland shopping mall which provided us such a space for them to chill out and compete with each others, and this year….. it’s indoor, so none a sweat drop from my body comparing to last year which held at Sunway Pyramid outdoor, and i sweat down to my crack!! that’s freaking hot and lost concentration while taking pics!

So the extreme game has devided into 2 groups, freestlye skateboarding and BMX Flatland Windstorm. I really salute on those who got guts on playing such an extreme sports, cause this reminds me falling back for few times while i’m playing skateboard with my brother, and the colour of the skateboard tat i had bfr is yellow whereby my brother’s skateboard is lime green, hmm……. miss those time.

Here’s the photo gallery, I’ve filter most of the pictures because i want to group it under one category which is BMX Flatland Windstorm, as for this category it’s a lot more interesting cause most of them are really good and pro with their stunts comparing to skateboarding which 99% of them fell down more than successfully glide over.

Not sure I’ll win anything for the photography contest, i just wanna gain some exposure about live events photo shooting which involve lots people and u need to fight for a good spot such an angle where people don’t expect you’ll get it.
